Femi Rotimi has been involved in International project development since 1989. Femi was a former partner in charge of Business Development for Europe and Africa at Graham Robinson & Co (a US Investment Bank), prior to which he headed the African operations at NAFCO International (an Energy Trading Corporation).
Between 1993 and 1996, he took a pioneering role in the establishment of the Rofem – Jerez Joint Venture (an EnergyJV between Rofem Industries of Nigeria and Jerez Energy of Alberta, Canada) as Alliance Promoter and later as Operations Director.
Since 1997, he has been the Managing Consultant at FETOROTTI & Co a firm of London- based Project Developers, providing innovative solutions on complex African and International projects. Mr Rotimi has provided consultancy advice on assignments for clients in the Energy, Manufacturing, Transportation and Financial Services Industries as well as Government Institutions.
Femi Rotimi studied Quantity Surveying at the University of Ife, (now renamed Obafemi Awolowo University), Nigeria, he holds the Series 7 Securities Licence from the United States and an MBA from City (now renamed Cass) University Business School, London.
Femi is an active member of the Business Council for Africa, and a member of the Global Offset and Countertrade Association, the foremost International professional body regulating the practice, conduct and application of Counter Trade – Offset policy worldwide. Mr Rotimi is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA), a member of the Energy Institute and a Past President of the Rotary Club of St Pancras, London.
He sits on the Board of several Companies and is married with children.
